"Dipped for a late lunch, we chose dishes from the senior menu two courses for under a five) I had steak pudding and my wife the whole day breakfast, followed by apple crumbs for me and sirup sponge for my wife. we both really enjoyed the net and I enjoyed the crumb. unfortunately the sirup sponge was overboiled and we had to send it back, but the replacement sponge was delicious. we both agreed that we really enjoyed the meal and that the staff was the first class, as the abbot ale. will definitely return. they only lost one star because of the blurring, but that means the problem was sorted quickly and without fuss. total value for money."

"A standard Wetherspoons ordered from the table first round of drinks and food came no problem ordered a second round waited 20 mins still not arrived spoke to a server who passed who checked but said they got confused and thought the drinks had went out took our money asked for a refund as our lift had arrived still waiting mmmm"

"Went for a dinner on A Friday night better to book in advance for high demand days). The service was great so as food: really enjoyed the beef pie and desserts. Chicken schnitzel was ok nothing wrong- just a normal chicken schnitzel). Want to come back for breakfast. Not too expensive and good food and service."

"Excellent service and price for money. we visited as family of 6, we were very welcome to the arrival after booking online. the carvery was tasty and the meat portions were generous, all offered sides were fresh and there was a good selection of sweet inc pasta. waiting for the staff was friendly and polite. the pudding menu had a series of choices and we have made the best of it, with treacle sponge, brownie and the crumb. these were charming and homemade and again the portions were generous. we had a nice time and would recommend to others."
