"Not a tonne options in inuvik and was looking for a fast place to eat after the cycling from dawson city. this place was perfect. busy, but the service was fast. the personal was friendly. Eat (I had the loaded sub) was good. it is a little expensive for what it is, but they are somehow in the middle of nowhere, so it makes sense."

"It’s not as if there are many restaurant choices in a small arctic town, but this one was a winner. The atmosphere was cozy, casual and unique. The owner was friendly and seemed happy to be there. I got the fried whitefish, which I was...told was locally caught fresh, and while I’m not normally a huge seafood fan, it was very enjoyable and a good sized portion."

"Ate here on an airport layover on the way to Yellowknife (yes, I managed to turn Mike Zubko airport into a hub . Restaurant is attached to the waiting room and was quite packed for the lunch time rush...seems to be a very popular local establishment. Had the usual selection of burgers, hot beef and turkey, fried chicken, cold sammiches, and hot soup that you'd expect from a diner/cafeteria. They also did quesadillas. Someone on wikitravel mentioned musk ox burgers. Did not find those on the menu...ordered a buffalo burger thinking they meant buffalo meat but it was buffalo chicken instead. So unfortunately nothing exotic. Everything comes with fries and they do poutine too. Staff was friendly. Accepts credit card as long as charges exceed $5, which almost certainly it will if you're getting anything other than a soda or pack of gum."

"Everything was pretty tasty. The northern prices are in full effect here. If your travelling be prepared for some sticker shock. Servers were attentive, but a bit inexperienced. No beer on tap here, just bottled. Selection was fine. The buffalo chicken burger was good. Also had some potato skins. Portions were a bit on the small side. The wait for the food was pretty long. It was busy for a Tuesday night."

"This place was great. My parents separated a chicken burger and Greek salad. My girlfriend also had a crispy chicken burger. All enjoyed their meals. Sick beats in the restaurant. I had a Donair. I am from the east coast, so I was obviously skeptical about a Donair from so far away from Halifax. I wasn't disappointed. The sauce was similar, but not as sweet as the East Coast version (I liked it). He had exactly the right amount of sauce on it, not too wet, but also not dry. Nothing worse than a dry donair. The beef was perfectly cooked and not dry. Total 9/10 (honorary east coast Donair ranking in my books). I'd come back for the next time for this exact meal I'll get through!"
