Decent bar. Food isnt that great and not much of a wine list but they get it done in the booze and beer departments. If you havent had it yet try the yukon...

Had a great meal and drinks when we rolled into town. They were able to accommodate food preferences. Would highly recommend. We were sad they weren't open...

"There are not a lot of places to eat out in Inuvik, but Alestine’s really stands out! Currently open only for dinner, we suggest you arrive right when it opens—the place isn’t large and it was full within 10 minutes. Despite being short staffed, we were served delicious meals (tacos, burgers) direct from the food truck kitchen with smiles and good humour. Save room for the cheekily-named “piece of tail” dessert! Highly recommended"

"This place was great. my parents share a chicken burger and Greek salate. my friend also had a crispy chicken castle. everyone enjoyed their meal. in restaurant. I had a donair. I am from the east coast, so I was obviously skeptical about a donair from top to halifax. I wasn't disappointed. the soße was similar, but not as sweet as the east coast version (i liked it). he had exactly the correct amount of sauce on it, not too wet, but also not dry. nothing worse than a dry donair. the bark was perfectly cooked and not dry. a total of 9/10 (high east coast Donair-Ranking in my books). I'd come back for this next time."
