"Probably if they don't use the aircon it won't get your coffee or food cold too fast. The place is awesome by itself but we couldn't enjoy much of the service or food due to the aircon"

"We were surprised there was no option of sitting inside with air-con so we sat outside and sweltered in the heat. I guess this is summer in Mackay? We enjoyed a trio of dips for lunch and a BLAT burger which was fairly good. Coffees were ok but service a little slow. Lucky we were on holidays! Close to the lagoon but not very busy."

"We took elderly in-law's out to lunch on New Years day. The staff were really accommodating. Opening an access door and making sure we were able to take the shortest route to the table in the air-conditioning. And they were happy to give us a child's meal for our very elderly dad. This was above and beyond what we expected but very much appreciated as the dear old fellow would rather just have a plate of chips than waste food and the kids steak was just right for him. The service was excellent. The venue with all the old signs etc was good too. Gave the olds something to chat about. The location is good because it is in the old part of town and again revived some memories. Pulling into the laneway provided easy access to drop off and pick up. And for us more able bodied the meal was up to the usual standard that we always enjoy at hogs breath. Steak just melted in your mouth. Salads were fresh and crisp. Hubby enjoyed his vegies. Grandad enjoyed the curly fries too and was quite intrigued about how they were made. Outstanding service made it a really pleasant outing and a great way to spend precious time with hubby's mum and dad. ( the loo is upstairs so lucky we didn't need that)"

"Being vegan in Vietnam means that I had a lot of avocado on toast and I am here to say that the grazing goat has the best avo on toast in mackay. stacked high and full taste. gurken strip and the lemon flavor that is either in the sauce or the mandelbrei that gives a fresh one from other caffes missing. it is vegan, so you can order this directly from the menu without any changes required. the grazing goat also keeps raw gems slices. a local favorite for everyone in the know. I had no bad coffee from the grazing goat. whether vegan or not, the menu is very good value."
