We ate here for breakfast once and lunch twice. Our breakfast arrived at different times but only by a few minutes. Food was very good! For a couple looking to keep their spending down we were pleased with the prices for the quality of the food we got. Loved the quirky settling too. read more.

What User doesn't like about Uneek:
Visited for breakfast. Large servings but nothing you couldn't do at home. Poached eggs overdone. Asked for water it never arrived. In a competitive breakfast market needs a lot of improvement. Went a few weeks ago before kitchen opened and was looking forward to returning. Very disappointed read more.

"I just fancied some fish and chips so after looking up various sites I decided this place was the real goods. Parking outside was plentiful and the place was also easy to find.On entering I thought it doesn't look anything like the photo in trip advisor, in fact it was a bit shabby, I thought it didn't really matter as the food could be quite good.Service was quite quick. The cooking/frying was hidden away by some board that was erected to block out any sight of that which I thought was a bit odd.A mammoth amount of paper was used to wrap my feast which I thought was a bit old fashioned and over the top.Now the opening of my parcel brought out the wonderful smell that I so enjoy, on trying a few chips first I could only describe them as very average no where near the previous descriptions I have read. Next was the fish which was a battered red emperor, the batter was extremely oily, I tossed it out of the window of my parked car for the birds to eat, so as to the claim to be the best fish and chips in Mackay at $14.50 I would suggest trying somewhere else."
