"Another great meal. This place is a triple threat, coffee, gravy and the Koleslaw all measure. The staff and the atmosphere are very relaxed, take time and enjoy. The tables are always clean and uncut. In a hurry, say the word they can push you through, but I enjoy the chance to sit and talk without being rushed. With breakfast is the veggie chili, a unique function, tangie and considerable. The beans, dark thick and not too sweet, are a perfect balance for the chili. I had the big breakfast, my server didn't keep my little inquiries in mind. A piece of each multigrain and sourdough.no problem, chili page you have it. Go open in eyes, stomach and heart, Ganarascals will not be disappointed! You're what I've been waiting for!"

"Stopped here on July 31 on our way from Laveanne. Picked it based on the Google ratings and it did not disappoint. Called ahead to book a table and it was ready as we came in. There wasn?t much of a rush maybe due to the time slot (around 4pm). The place was bright, spacious and really airy. Multiple floors, multiple washrooms. Staff was nice, attentive and efficient. They addressed our concerns regarding alcohol in our food and worked with our dietary limitations. Menu is extensive and offer a lot of variety. We ordered the butternut squash ravioli, the grilled salmon pad Thai, the blackened salmon, the Asian hotpot and the Lobster Lovers. Really wasn?t expecting much other than pub styled food, suffering from one sauce for all the dishes syndrome. But wow, were we surprised! Every single dish we ordered was unique in taste and flavour. Generous portions. Just beautiful plates. Absolutely 10/10. Wouldn?t hesitate to visit again if we?re in that part of ON!"

"After a stroll down the street we went into Queenies for a quick look and maybe a dessert. We chose a Pecan Square and a Chocolate Cinnamon Roll. Yum! The Pecan Square crust was made from short bread and was like a butter tart on steroids. The Cinnamon Roll was made with puff pastry, rolled like a cinnamon roll and drizzled with chocolate. One of the best cinnamon rolls I have had in a long time. There many more tantalizing treats on display and if these two were representative of the general quality, this place is the place for pastry in Port Hope."
