"I mentioned this restaurant in my review of the Chateau Nova Hotel. Maybe it was a fluke, but we found this restaurant lacking. Our mistake to order the breakfast buffet. Sounded like it would be good, as we had talked with staff the night before.Everything, and I mean everything was barely warm. Cool pancakes? You bet. Blah eggs, tasteless breakfast potatoes and passable bacon/sausage. No variety. There was fresh fruit and yogurt and plain cereals. We mentioned to the hostess about the food temperature and she said she would tell the chef. For a hotel of this caliber the breakfast buffet either needs to be severely upgraded or removed completely.They had a menu and it looked like that might have been a better choice. The hostess had told me that the cost of the buffet (which she initially unsure of) was $10.95 pp. and free for our two 2 yr old grandkids. Then she said that the drinks for the kids had to be charged. On leaving, the bill stated that the buffet was $14.95 pp and the hostess denied telling me it was $10.95. At 10.95 the buffet was overpriced, but $14.95? For this? They should be ashamed. I was not there for the bill paying and my wife told me later the discrepancy of cost. She just paid it and we left.I sincerely hope this event and meal were a one-off. I do not like to give negative reviews unless it is necessary for my own peace of mind, or to help others make an informed choice. If this was indicative of the usual breakfast buffet, they should do as I suggested above. Avoid the buffet at all costs. Considering the other reviewer had a very positive experience with a brunch, I would suggest that readers just make their own decisions regarding when to eat here."

"Everything was great, but we were seated very close to the main portion of the Buffay. As a result, we didn’t even know there was another section that had more food. We missed out on the omelette and the waffle station completely. We didn’t see it until we were walking out of the restaurant. Your service, and to do a better job of letting people know where all of the food stations are."

"Stopped by Danny's for a solo supper. It was fairly busy but the service I received was very friendly and prompt. I had the triple bacon and eggs. The eggs were as ordered and the Jalapeño bacon was delicious!"

"We had to take the wife's car in to get the muffler repaired. After we dropped the car off we had about 45 minutes to wait so we decided to stop in for brunch. We were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was bright and clean. The waitress was talkative and courteous. My wife had the Waffles and I had the meat lovers skillet. We were both satisfied with the portions and flavors. It was definitely worth stopping in for a bite and was reasonably priced."

"We started at the Hotel Macdonald which included a 3 course meal for2. The scallop with prawn a squid ink risotto was fabulous. We both had the beef tenderloin which was prepared to perfection. Our server Jacob was outstanding, as we frequent the harvest room Jacob remembers our likes and others superior service. The overall staff are great and just offers outstanding service. As we were celebrating my wife's birthday we got complimentary cake and a dessert champagne. We couldn't eat it all as our dinner included dessert. Great meal wonderful evening with great views of the river valley"
