"I loved going to this place when it was Pals, especially because of the atmosphere and some of their dishes. It just made me smile. I was so glad it was reopened. I'm glad they kept the same old time appealing, and it was interesting to see the menu changes. I admit that I felt that some of the prices were a little high, and I was sad to see some things that were normal diner fare no longer on the menu... especially the hot turkey sandwich... the Pal's actually made with a thick slice of turkey and it was like no other. It would be amazing to see this return to the menu. It's a great consolation. My sister and I respectively ordered the enchilada that are depicted. I must say they were very tasty and the presentation was great. I loved the black beans and rice very much. The Enchiladas were really spiced. To dessert we had a shake and it was very good! My only concern is that the pricing for a diner appears a little. It would be nice if there were some cheaper choices on the menu. I also felt that some of the foods just didn't seem to fit the atmosphere... which is a diner. The food I saw coming from the kitchen looked great and appealing, but it looked like it was in a higher kind of branch. I just felt that the menu should reflect more of a 50s theme like the atmosphere. Offers for a more comfort food theme would be nice. If that makes sense. And this is just my own observation: The waiting staff was very attractive and pleasant, and the whole facility was clean: I plan to go back to try some other things."
