"There are limited choices in the Cow Head area. This restaurant offered great service with pretty good food. Even though it was very busy, our server was very attentive, and the food did not take too long. The fish cakes and coleslaw were fresh and...tasted good. The mixed vegetables were a bit over cooked, and could be skipped in favour of a larger portion of coleslaw. Portion sizes were good."

"I wish I could give you a good review. I can't. There were 5 of us for dinner and the combined bill was almost $350.00. This was excessive in view of the taste and quality of food. My husband had the fish soup as an appetizer, most cabbage with 2 (two! shrimps and a lump cod. Three of us had the garlic shrimps that cooked very small salad shrimps in what I thought was Cheddar cheese. One of us had shrimps Diavalo, which they did not finish. One of us had lobster roll (Seafood roll, which had about $5.00 worth on seafood. The Caesar salad some of us had was okay. We also had a $35.00 bottle of wine. I've never left such a review, but we've all been disappointed and felt quite demolished. I understand how difficult it is to run a restaurant and make a profit, but that was not a good experience for all five of us. The service we had was excellent! Righteous, JH"
