"We came here to an impromptu evening dinner, and although we had not reserved ourselves, they adapted us to an outdoor table in less than ten minutes. Andi must say I had the best seafood risotto I've ever eaten! You have a great menu and the staff is friendly. Would recommend!"

"Food-wise: We ordered a bavette steak and to our surprise, it was cut into pieces. The Cioppino was overcooked. Other people in our party had very good entrees, to it's a mixed bag, hence 3 stars. Ambiance-wise: this is the only dog-friendly restaurant I've seen. Dogs were eating bones behind me when we starter our dinner. Value-wise, dinner menu items are slightly overpriced based on the overall quality."

"What a lovely atmosphere for a delicious Wagyu steak! The setting is beautiful and cozy and the steak was divine. My companions were the steak enthusiasts and their choices were the Spinalis and the Cowgirl Ribeye and both were prepared to perfection. The salads and the appetizers were ideal for a me. The blue cheese salad and the avocado salad were fantastic with crisp butter lettuce and yummy vinaigrettes. The fried artichoke came with a delicious aioli and was very gently fried and well presented. The waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable and the wine impressive and reasonably priced. An excellent evening tucked away in the Crosswords of Carmel."
