"Decided to catch bus 316 from Ascona to Brissago to see what I would see.Passing all the houses built into the cliffs of the lakeside at a million an apartment I arrive in Brissago Surprise surprise not much was open so having bought a cigar from the cigar factory I found a restaurant with the view of the lakeAt first I was the only guest and asked what I could have? Spaghetti, Lasagna or chopSo I had a mixed salad and Lasagna. Safe standard food which was good but nothing specialThe section with the lake view was closed but I was next two a impressive open fire place which though it had started to snow was not lit. Shame I saw the owner who did everything heat up my lasagna and serve meWith drink and coffee 32 ChfIt might be better in other circumstances."

"Das kleine Hotel/Restaurant Bellavista macht seinem Namen alle Ehre. Nur schon wegen der Aussicht lohnt sich ein Besuch. Aber auch die Gastfreundschaft war sehr herzlich. Wir assen dank schönem und warmen spätsommerwetter auf der gemütlichen Terrasse. Alles ist zwar etwas eng, das tut dem Ambiente aber keinen abstrich. Das Essen hat wunderbar geschmeckt. Hier stimmt auch das Preis.-Leistungsverhältnis! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und bedanken uns für den gemütlichen und schönen Abend."

"Let me just start of by saying this was one of the best hotel/restaurant experiences I have ever had. Emanuel is the real deal and one of the most dedicated ristorante managers I have ever seen. We arrived on a Saturday during a busy holiday and we were not aware of this. Almost the whole restaurant had been reserved for dinner and we weren’t informed at the front desk that reservations were highly recommended on weekends. Needless to say he made sure to accommodate us in a very pleasant manner. He even handcrafted a cocktail for us that the bartender was unsure of and it was excellent. You could immediately tell he is the type of person to go above and beyond for his guests. This is also reflected in his outstanding staff. The food (breakfast, lunch, dinner) was absolutely delicious, one of the best pizzas I have ever had. The risotto was a thing of beauty, the filets served on hot plates, the fruit and salad so fresh and tasty. I would highly recommend stopping by to eat even if you’re not staying. The view on the terrace is breathtaking to say the least. We were blown away by this place and didn’t expect such a quality ristorante to be a part of the Parkhotel Brenscino. My hats off to Emanuel he truly is a special person and runs an absolutely amazing place to eat and drink. He was there every night at closing, (after 10pm) and there first thing the next morning for breakfast (before 7am). I was truly honored to eat in the restaurant of such a hard worker and the food and staff reflected it. 5 Stars from us and we will be back!"
