"I went to the Catalina Club today with friends and got my usual lunch when at the coast, a Seafood Basket. l was shocked! This was the Best Seafood Basket in years. All perfectly cooked fresh and tasty and a full size serve. I went...and told the staff to send my complements to the chef, something I have also not done for years. they asked me to do this review. "Just had lunch there. The view of the water is great, today being windy it was extra special. I had the King Fish and others had filet steak all good. Batemans Bay is a very pretty Place and having somewhere on the water to eat is excellent.Will go again."

"This definitely is a hidden secret. Upstairs over the Mexican restaurant it overlooks the bay. The food was good and the service was great. BYO meant we could bring our own which kept the price down. A good place to visit for couples, family and friends."

"Am a local. Thought we would try it again with the new owners after how bad it was before. Ordered poached eggs. Eggs were not poached at all. like hard boiled. Not hard to make poached eggs properly. All it came with was 3...tiny cherry tomatoes each cut in half and a small piece of sourdough bread which was wet in the middle. Nothing else. Quite expensive for such a small badly cooked breakfast. Small pot of tea with two large tea bags inside which made the tea so strong you couldn’t drink it. Ask for a pot of hot water to make the tea weak but still way too strong. They had to then make another pot of tea which by then breakfast was finished. Need to pick up their game if they want to succeed. Not much better than it previously was. You are on a gold mine here with the location. Serve quality food cooked well and you will do great. Will try again but very disappointed with everything to start with."

"We stumbled across this place not expecting more then an average meal but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and happy to alter the menu to suit our needs. The food came out and it was noticeably fresh. I asked for prawn Pho instead of the beef and it was genuinely one of the best ones I've eaten. It even tastes better then the Pho I get in Sydney."

"My partner and I ordered 2 crab meat and corn soups, which were extremely gluggy and not very flavoursome. They also had very little meat in them. We also got a serving of lemon chicken fried rice the rice was okay, nice smoky...flavour. The chicken was bad, and tasted very processed, not crispy on the outside. The lemon sauce had absolutely no tang, no real flavour not what you want in a lemon sauce! Would not order here again I don’t even want to eat the leftovers."
