"Hubby and I used went to this place a few times before , since we like Chinese food , and its close to our home , but after today never ever againI don't normally write reviews on my restaurant experiences, but felt compelled after my experience at The Golden Restaurant , this place is the worse Chinese restaurants we went in our livesThe service was low quality , even knowing us and always telling the server that I am allergic to sea food she always try to push the special of the day that is always lobster today we had lemon chicken and lemon sauce that can best be described as a liquidized form of gelatin - also gooey and not very good . The worst was the rice , tasted so bad that had to call the server that removed the plate asapsome was very wrong with that dish If you want the really authentic Chinese good food don't go there felt a kind of sick all afternoonAs far as the interior is concerned, fairly plain and simple, washrooms smell bad like they don't wash it or could care less the windows were filthy - there was a cloudy film and streaking on most of them, like we were in some sort of an old placethe owner or manager was eating in one table in the front and we told her that the food was so bad that we will never come back againshe was eating chowing her food and just says :why ?and we told her again about the quality of foodand that I will be contacting Heath Canada what I didto bad .so sad .and btw still have the receipt ... smart me paid in cash that way the woman doesn't have info about me ahahahaaand kept the food remains in case Heath Canada asks for it"

"Soup tasted great and were very large in size. Do not recommend spring rolls, very medicore. Service was sparse, even though there were only a few people in the restaurant. Bathroom could use a little love and cleaning."
