"Wayne and I were very happy to have chosen Conca D'oro as our venue for both our ceremony and reception. I remember the moment we stepped inside their venue to inquire about their wedding packages, we were blown away by the customer service we experienced from Fran. She was very passionate about weddings, about the venue, the legacy it has, and what they do well (ie food and service . Even with the limited budget we had, and during a time when their business suffered from the effects of COVID19 on the wedding industry, never did we feel that Fran was just trying to make business we felt the genuine appreciation she had for her job and the genuine connection she was trying to make with people. She listened to all our requests, answered all our queries... and made everything possible for us. She was there every step of the way and every good thing we envisioned, was there, wonderfully made, placed on the wedding day. The centrepieces, the food, the decor everything was lovely : Our guests enjoyed the wedding and were so relaxed and had a lot of nice words to say about the food and service. The beef cheeks were a hit! The calamari were amazing! The desserts to die for! Everyone had a big smile on their face during the day the kids, the parents, our staff.. But most importantly, Wayne and I enjoyed our wedding and were very pleased on how it turned out. The only thing that could be improved would probably just be the speakers at the Regal. There were moments during the wedding where when we were playing the video from the computer and somehow the sound came out static y at times or there were sudden loud jolts. But for us this is a minor thing, and we would still choose Conca D'oro if we were to get married again haha. Thanks again Fran and team! Thanks Conca D'oro. Rochele and Wayne"

"Lovely dining area, set in a train station. Had the shared seafood plate with calamari, octopus moreton bay bugs, prawns and flathead fillets. Not bad (especially the octopus which were really tender) but not sure about battering and deep frying prawns (shell on) and the bugs The restaurant bar was great value pure blondes for"

"This placed used to do good good when they were in the old shop. However, since moving to level I have to wonder how they are still open. I believe inspectors should pay them a visit, how dirty they now area, the seats, the floor, the rusted table number. For god sake, get your act together. I do not recommend a dog being fed in your new establishment. A real disgrace, You should be ashamed of yourselves."
