"My wife had been sent an offer via email so we decided to take advantage of it so glad we didwe were promptly shown to a table and asked if we had ant food allergies there where of us having meals we had a combination of the lasagne, the calzone and the rustica meat Sofia while we where waiting for the meals to arrive we were served a cup of pasta seasoned with paprika surprisingly (very tasty) the wait was about right for the meals and we were all very impressed well worth visiting"

"I had Amercian friends over and took them to a old haunt of ours The Three Greyhounds. We have always rated this place and the food was always knockout. It was our fav place before Covid. We even bumped into John Bishop one night having a meal with his family. We loved it. We noticed the management had changed, but the bar remained the same and were pleasant enough, but nowhere near the warm welcoming atmosphere from the previous manager, Simon(? . It seemed to lack something, as soon as we walked in, that I couldn't put my finger on. We ordered the food which looked great on the menu. Although the food was pleasant enough, it was nowhere near the standard it used to be. It was £100 for 4 adult 2 children, and we would expect a higher than usual standard for the price. Sadly, it did not deliver. The food just wasn't served in a refined way, as it used to be, it was just average. The kids food was just a plate of chips and scampi, no veg (raw carrots, cucumber would have been a nice touch ...and it was dry. The steak sandwich was nicely cooked steak, but in toast! No refinement at all nice homecooked bread with a salad inside would have been nicer. Pleasant pub, but has fallen into the ranks of average and with so much competition, it needs to get back to fantastic (as it used to be ."

"Visited on the 27th October with my wife and we were simply blown away by the entire experience. We went with the tasting menu and we both left the restaurant amazed. Service was outstanding, it could not be any better. Greta is a superstar and the level of service provided was top notch. Greta was assisted by an employee that appeared to be fairly new and was learning the role. The person assisting Greta was outstanding as well. We really enjoyed the service provided by both employees. As for the food, I am at a loss for words. Every course was unique and amazing. Unable to decide which dish was my favourite, La Tartare, Il Touro In Raviolo or Il Cervo. We truly enjoyed every dish but the one that really left an impression was the Branzino(Sea Bass). The only way I can describe Brazino, if you were to try and figure out what Autumn tasted like, it was that dish. The entire evening was a five star experience. Chef Valentina has brought something really special to Chester Chef Valentina is an amazing chef, an artist, and someone who users her talent to bring a smile on your face. We are very lucky to have such a great place in Chester."

"Husband and I went tonight for the steak night. Had a few disappointing ones over the last year. I must say it was the best steak we've had that I haven't had to cook for years. Huge thankyou to the chef. Staff were friendly. Thank you xx"

"I enjoyed my first time here. This place was so aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. As you can see in my picture, they had a beautiful tree in the middle with fairy lights all around it. The toilets are upstairs and similarly the restaurant is just as nice upstairs. It was relatively quite when we went. There were a few other people there, but it wasn't busy. Our server was lovely and attentive, he was the only waiter it seemed, but he worked well. For my food I got a chicken gyro, which came with fries and I also got a side of onions rings. I did very much like my chicken gyro, I think my only criticism would be that the food within the gyro wasn't really distributed evenly and all the tzatziki sauce was in one end of my gyro. This did mean some bites were a little hard to swallow as they were dry. The fries were nice, they were coated in a red salt. I didn't like the onion rings. They looked promising and were proper fresh onion rings, however they didn't seem to have any seasoning on/in them whatsoever and so this made them really boring to eat. Combined with the fact that they weren't crispy as I expected them to be, I just didn't think they were worth getting, especially not for £4.50 they were. I think I would go back here and try something different on the menu, just to see what that's like. I would recommend trying this place if you like greek and Mediterranean food."

"We had a lovely meal here whilst stopping at the hotel. Couldn't fault service, choice or price. The seating had just enough room between tables so as not to be overheard and we generally had a really good time. Would definitely recommend to others"

"Excellent service, delicious food and fairly good service overall. Can be a little slow when busy but generally very good. The ambience and decor of the place is lovely and there is a reasonably good selection of ales available. Certainly one of my favourite pubs in the Cheshire area."
