"After a long time I visited this place, still the food taste was great. The best place for weekend getaway and night trip. They also have billiards game for entertainment. Most of the weekends were crowded even though the food was delivered on time. Tava fish and crispy Calamari... highly recommended!! Finally dinner ended with caramel pudding and Musella pancake!. Must visit place and dnt miss the opportunity... thanks for the wonderful weekend masala Café!"

"What an amazing find! We had only stopped for water, stayed for fantastic Calamari and the best garlic butter shrimps. Our hosts were very friendly and exceptionally courteous, the view from the restaurant was nice to look at the sea. I can't praise this place enough, we will definitely return."

"I visited this cafe last year on my trip to Mahabalipuram. I'd heard about it from a couple of friends so decided to try it myself. On the first step in it gives a really nice feel. It is kind of like a rooftop cafe...having both tables-chairs and low lying tables and mattresses to sit on. The service was a little slow but maybe it was just that day. As for the food I'll say its so-so. I didn't relish it as much as other folks would have but then again I only like seafood which doesn't smell as much (you know the smell of a fish freshly caught)"

"Went there for lunch. I was the only customer. I ordered grilled fish and soda water. First came lemon soda and then a very small fish for 300 Rs with a small portion of fries. I was still hungry at the end.I sat at the rooftop corner to enjoy the views and the waiter came and started to chat. I made him clear I was in no mood for smalltalk and just wanted to be alone but he stayed in front of me for the whole meal.And the only active mosquito I ever saw at noon was in that place.There are numerous better places in town, especially near the bank."

"I don't know why this restaurant doesn't have many reviews. I went for the view and didn't expect much. I felt the service to be attentive and fast. The food was great twice when I went there. With the upper floor open view of the...beach obviously worth the view... Good people work there, too. Overall I preferred Santiago's over the other beach restaurants."

"The overall quality of food we had was ok...good. The prawns in corriander and garlicbutter sauce were well done. But the fish was not upto the mark, it hadn't been cleaned properly at all. The soup was ok. We weren't tempted to try anything more. But it was ok for the prices they charge. Resaonably good."

"I had dinner before from the brother restaurant next to the original Moonrakers. Comparing both, have the same set of menu, same taste, ambiance.<br/ <br/ I think the fish size and type vary from day to day based on the catch. Comparatively the size was less than before.<br/ So ordered and extra garlic butter fish......<br/ <br/ That way I return with filled mind and stomach by paying around 1300 to my home.......<br/ Happy ending.."
