"A memorable Sunday afternoon eating quality rump steak and fish and chips at realistic prices. The band was an unexpected treat. Snape Trilogy played a selection of popular classics we knew and enjoyed immensely, including Bee Gees, Doobie Brothers etc. The 37metre schooner RUACH was moored at the wharf making the perfect backdrop behind the band. Even the overcast weather and drizzly rain didn't dampen the spirits as one could imagine they were on the bank of the Thames. We have been to this restaurant when it was The Brewery and this visit certainly didn't let us down. The staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommend this venue."

"My family was wanting takeway during the holiday period and fish & chips were wanted.We sought a family pack the quality was the issue and we asked to avoid some fish.When we arrived home with the package it included this fish only and chips which were soggy and greasy.I could never recommend this location again!!"

"Amazing eating and personal. When we arrived, the house was full and it was clear that her focus was on offering everything necessary. that was delicious. I ordered a piccolo and you benedikt. it was delicious, staring at her sauce. they loved the fact that they were concerned to take us to the house because of my mother-in-law and my little child, it was a bit cold. vegetarian options: I have seen the option in their menu, but cannot remember the details. Accessibility: they can access a wheelchair, not move much space, but with effort everything will work out."

"Went on recommendation. Ordered a marina platter for 2. Huge amount of chips, which made the meal look big when it came out.The 2 prawns skewers were almost cold & soft (possibly a frozen product?) The 2 large 'fresh' tiger prawns had next to no taste. The 2 large battered prawns were basically the same. The 2 grilled scallops were in a sauce that was very salty. The 2 kilpatrick & 2 mornay oyster were ok, but my husband said mine are better, and I'm just your average cook. The chips, calamari & salt/pepper squid were nice.But at a cost of $98 for the platter & 2 soft drinks, we won't be back.As my husband said "oh well we've been here, won't be back."It's in a nice spot, but is basically a cafe sharing the position with an ice cream outlet."
