"This was our first time at Sardellas Restaurant I was celebrating a very special Birthday Sardellas was highly recommended by the hotel we were staying at We were not impressed with the dishes we had ordered We had ordered two pasta dishes There was very little spaghetti and a lot of sauce So disappointed We ordered a salad with shrimp and eggplant both were fair at best Not a good first impression Unfortunately"

"We started with the calamari and it was fantastic. There were so many flavors that blended perfectly together. I had the Short Ribs burger with truffle fries, amazing! My boyfriend had the Pad Thai with chicken and it was really good. We have been here several times and will definitely be back. Oh and our server was great too... Love the atmosphere here!"

"Scales and mussels are enough of a reason to come Newport RI. Go there early to get a table, or wait happy. It's like that. Best seafood in the city, amazing both simple and complex at the same time. And very fresh and tasty with comfortable large portions, service is excellent. Nicole, who served us both nights, was efficient, caring and the epitome of hospitality. We would go there only for them.... (Oh and the deserts are amazing!"

"My husband and I came here on New Years Day and we both had fantastic meals. I got the sausage orecchiette pasta and he got the pork chops. Our waitress was incredibly nice and attentive. We would 100% recommend going to Jo's if you're ever in the Newport area!"

I felt that the damped mushes were good, simply exaggerated by garlic and for me to say that it was alot of garlic. if I want to spend money on meeresfruit I want to taste it. two mushes were partially opened. made me leary to eat them, but I did it anyway. bisque had no lobsters as expected, but it was good. it didn't show a cheese as an ingredient, but I felt I could taste cheese. Maybe it was the heavy one and spiced. the croutons were a welcome topping to cut the strong aromes. hubby enjoyed his steamer and didn't whip while they were sacrificing them. "Visiting Newport and came to this place last night for a drink, and wanted to come back for dinner tonight. First, my husband and I both didn't enjoy our drinks from yesterday blueberry mule and whiskey sour), but we liked the atmosphere of the place so we decided to give it another chance for dinner. The decor is cool but it was hot and musty inside. We were sat right away, but it took a rather long time for a server to grab out orders. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time as we had a feeling from the beginning things would be on the slower side. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and my husband ordered a burger with cheese $1 extra) and bacon $2) extra. My quesadilla was a quesadilla, not much to mess up with a tortilla and cheese, but I will say it's quite evident the chicken they used was microwaved out of a bag. My husband ordered his burger medium rare, it came the first time around well done and burnt to a crisp. We sent it back and finally when it came back, it was still burnt to a crisp on the outside, but inside was rare as can be. Overall service was pretty sub par, the manager never came over to apologize for the food being sent back, just walked by and gave us weird looks a few times."
