"Update: Sep 2023: Still great food and great service. The special cocktails are awesome. Still highly recommended. My wife and I have been coming here a couple of times in the last 2-3 years and every single time, both the food and the service have been top notch. This time we had the Crispy Calamari to start, and they couldn't be more crispier and tastier. The best calamaris I have had for a while now. Next we had a cup of Gumbo and a Shrimp PoBoy. The gumbo tasted great. The Shrimp PoBoy was great too although it was a little dry and I wish the sauce they used could have been more. Still no complaints though. Lastly, we had the Bread Pudding for dessert. Again, easily the best pudding I have had except maybe for some in New Orleans. Great service as usual and I look forward to coming back soon. "The seafood pasta is fabulous. Noodles could have been drained better. The waiters are a little thin. Live music song was very nice. If something's loud, the conversation is hard. Make sure to check their Facebook how they close once a month for events."

"The ribs are the best we've had since Houston's on Beltline disappeared many years ago. The bangbang shrimp and similarly sauced calamari are wonderful lead-ins. The beer is cold (they don't pour Velvet Hammer is those miserable little 5 ounce snifters, but in a full sized glass! , the wine list well chosen, and we've never had room for dessert but I'd bet that's A List, too. Service is routinely professional. You get what you pay for and for us it's worth every penny."

"The staff is friendly, but the rhythm of delivering food and drinks is choppy. The food was delicious and brought very quickly, which is okay if you’re hungry but not for a leisurely dinner. Their selection of bourbons was limited and delivery was slow. We saw only one bartender which wasn’t sufficient. On the reservation, I stated that we were there for a birthday celebration no mention of it and we were seated immediately in front of the entrance under bright lights. Overall, the lighting is too glaring in the dining area and bar."
