"First of all the atmosphere was nice, other than that not much good to say. Hostess was rude and pushy not welcoming whatsoever you’d think that would be the plan for the first face you see when you walk in. Next would be our waitress. As I say down after my trip from Myrtle Beach SC to meet old friends we were too quickly asked about potential appetizer order. When we exclaimed we weren’t yet ready she seemed disgruntled and leaned against the wall with her foot. We then shuffled through the menu to order. We eventually ordered our food which wasn’t the greatest we ate and talked some more but our waitress was seemingly persistent on getting us out of there by her constant rushing along of the meal. As soon as we took our last bite the checks where dropped at the table. We were hoping to have dessert and coffee and chat with our friends we haven’t seen is some time. When we asked if there was a dessert menu our waitress says “yup Key Lime Pie” we decided to pass as the vibe wasn’t there as if it wasn’t already. Moral of the story is it’s too bad that such a beautiful spot is tainted by unpleasant service and mediocre food. Don’t recommend this place, especially if you are trying to enjoy old friends presence."

"Chance’s Steak and Sea is a gem in Brunswick county. We went there for our Thanksgiving holiday (2 adults and 2 kids) and had an amazing buffet. The buffet had prime rib, turkey , ham, seafood pasta, cornbread stuffing, sweet potato soufflé, collards, desserts and many other items. Everything was flavorful, cooked to perfection, and presented well. Environment is coastal, modern, and spacious. They have a full bar, good wine list, and the service is excellent. We will be back for sure! They also have live music sometimes as well. We highly recommend Chance’s!!"
