"We stopped in with the family on Saturday night. The had one banquet table and the rest of the restaurant was empty. It took some time for the waitress to notice we were there as the banquet table is in a separate room joined to the main restaurant. The place was a comfy setting with plenty of tables. The menu was fairly diverse. Mainly pub type food with steaks and burgers as well as some foreign specialities that I have never heard of. My husband ordered the steak and I ordered the ribs that were on special that night. My oldest ordered the cowboy dry ribs and other child ordered the spaghetti from the children's menu. She was to order a side with that and chose the French fries. We ordered the calamari to start. Shortly after ordering the waitress came to tall us that they were out of steaks so my husband would have to order something else. He chose to order one of the burgers. The food was prepared in a resonable time, although the waitress forgot to serve my starter soup. The calamari were cut very thick, resulting in very tough meat. We each had one ring and decided that was enough. The children picking off the batter to eat it without the calamari because they were hungry. When the main course arrived they served everything except my daughters spaghetti and side fries. The waitress said it would be just a minute. It was a good 5 minutes when the spaghetti arrived without the French fries. The waitress said it would be a while unless she wanted to order something else, suggesting potato wedges instead!? Not sure how they would cook faster. But my daughter insisted on the French fries and told the waitress that she would wait. My ribs were quite dry, overcooked and without enough sauce to my liking. I asked for a side of sauce. My other draughts dry ribs were also extremely overlooked and were hard as hockey pucks! She took my sauce to make them what she considered to be edible. My husband really enjoyed his hamburger. Around the time that my daughters French fries finally arrived the waitress brought me my starter soup but I told her no thanks. My daughter was complaining that her spaghetti tasted weird. I tried it, and she was right. Not sure what it was? Maybe they had pre-made spaghetti and it took on the flavours in the fridge? Although it took so long to arrive at the table I'd like to assume that it was made fresh. It also had a weird texture. It was served with cheese, looked like a cheddar, mozzarella blend. Maybe that was the texture issue? It was gross though in my opinion.I would suggest just the burgers and fries if I was to suggest this restaurant to others."

"We had no idea about this place and came across it as I researched the best steaks in town here (considering other places were booked) I had to make other means. I was hesitant as I don’t like to try much new BUT in reading...the reviews I was almost sure that it would be good... the reviews were right. EVERY bite was delicious. The salmon dipped in the sauce, delicious carrots, potatoes were so soft and my husband being the steak guy that he is was suggested to get the bone-in steak from the owner. What a treat. I had a taste of his taste it was SO tasty.. flavourful.. moist.. grizzle was amazing and charred to perfection, every bite. I’m glad the other places were sold out as this won’t be the last time hopefully as we already plan to come again. Service made the food amazing and ambiance as well. Great job to the chef there. Seriously better than other steak places I’ve had by far and I’m picky with steaks being too undercooked or too dry. You won’t be disappointed. Trust me. I’m a foodie and this food is fine dining with amazing Caesar salad for (it’s expensive but worth watching them make it in front of you) and my husband being not so much of a dessert person suggested the butter pecan pie.. we shared it and the owner even put a nice candle on for us! Lol. We had a great time and the Bill are the end of the night wasn’t bad but worth it to us due to the server we had too Awesome food and keep up the work there! They don’t have open table online reservations so you have to call. You will not be disappointed!!!!!"

"We went with 5 people to Joey's for a birthday. The birthday girl wanted fish and chips. It's not a fancy place but the food was good and hot. Warm f&c is not a great thing. We had a good time and would recommend it."

"Authentic Greek cuisine featured on 'You Gotta Eat Here '. We were greeted by friendly smiling staff who sat us promptly. Ordered the Tzatziki starter. Home made, fresh dip with garlic bread. Fresh cucumber with just the right amount of garlic however I wish they had strained the cucumber a little more as the dip was a tiny bit too watery. With that said, the freshness made up for it. We ordered the Gyro plate and the shrimp plate as our mains. Both plates came with a healthy portion of meat, potatoes, rice, pita, and an orange wedge with a small container of Tzatziki. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The gyro was a bit dry and too salty for my liking but was still enjoyable. To be honest, I think I got the outer crust of a new batch. Potatoes were excellent. Rice was fantastic. Pita should have been served on the side but was buried between the meat and rice. The orange wedge didn 't quite understand that. Geometrically, the presentation was a little lopsided but who cares. It tasted good enough. The restaurant was clean, busy and authentic. The staff were super friendly and responsive. The service was excellent in my opinion. Would definitely repeat if we were in the area."
