"We've tried this place 4x since the new owner, and this will most definitely be the last. We never got one good meal (greasy! Bad oil. Small portion. Same menu but not nearly as good as last owners.Just blah), but wanted to give it one last shot. (since I used to be a Huuuuuge supporter when she had Cafe Bodega). The waitress on the lounge side was unbelievably rude! It was like we were an inconvenience as soon as we sat down. She came over super snooty with a dirty look and just expected us to order-no welcomes, how are yous, menus,this is the specials... Nothin. My boyfriend asked what she had on tap, she very rudely said no draft, as if we should know that... Her attitude was so gross and uncomfortable, we politely said we were gonna leave and she rolled her eyes and walked away. Normally I would talk to the manager (yes , everyone has bad days)... But since we given this establishment so many chances and been disappointed we figured no point!"

"Was in Sylvan Lake for a work trip and needed a quick meal to pick up and take to my hotel before “hitting the hay”. Had specific dietary needs that they were more than willing to accommodate. Food was large portions (enough to take home...the next day) and tasty. Only “complaint” was that I asked for the vegetables to be steamed and they were drenched in butter and also tasted like they were previously frozen and I prefer fresh. Other than that, good service, decent food and very accommodating."
