"Visited with some old friends for a spot of lunch. The staff were friendly and polite. It was quite busy with what looked like some local folk and visitors and was nice to see people chatting and enjoying themselves. The place was clean and tidy. The menu choice was great for somewhere in the middle of nowhere...a real oasis! We had a selection of food from homemade soup quiche..all was delicious, the salad bar is a fabulous idea and very generous. We finished with coffee, (which was a great cuppa) but too full for cake. My friend did take a slice of fruit cake home and later told me it was lovely. Well done to all for making this community run hub cafe a lovely spot to meet and we wish you every success."

"It was a really nice place, we just came here because the other place we wanted to visit was closed, but happy that we did. the staff was all super friendly, and it had a very welcoming atmosphere, which was also delicious and very good price in my opinion. large vegan vegetarian selection, and a separate vegan menu that makes order very easy."

"Dunno what the negative reviews are all about called in for light lunch wife had ham salad proper ham not processed rubbish fresh salad really nice i had mushroom soup homade with a sandwich very very nice staff very nice to .Take no notice of other negative reviews try yourself .cant fault this lovely little Diner very very nice highly reccomend for lunch very clean and tidy to ."

"My husband I stopped here for breakfast yesterday (24/6/22) before starting our journey south. I have to say that everything looked fresh enough but different once on plates. Fried bread very hard, bacon dry crisp, couldn't cut it, broke it like a biscuit, scrambled eggs dried up.biggest issue was hot food onto COLD plates, that us a NO NO. Tea for 2, meant 2 pots and 2 cups, one pot did the 2 cups, this time I asked for a take a way cup for the 2and pot of tea, at £2.40 per pot I wasnt going to leave it. We will NOT be back here again."
