"We were 5, first visit. nice resto, but too much american influence, the greek flavour u get in Europe (also north europe) is only faintly present. food was good, but pricy for what u get."

"The title says it all. In recent years I've been disappointed by the cinnamon bun options downtown. A friend suggested I try here, and since I had some time that day, I gave it a shot. First thing, they don't have a traditional cinnamon bun, but a cinnamon brioche. I was ok with that, so I proceeded. I thought that they looked kind of small for the price, but again I decided to press on. Turns out what I thought was the brioche in question was only half of it - they're huge - woo-hoo! Revelling in my pending joy, I decided to add a brewed coffee to my order, and was happy to see that it was Happy Goat coffee, which is great stuff. Downside was that the staff had a hard time understanding my coffee preference because the roast I chose was named 'espresso (something)' and they kept asking me if I wanted a single shot or double - a small and frustrating comedy of errors. Suggestion - don't name a flavour of one thing the same as another option!When i finally got to my office and got to sit down with my food, I was not disappointed. It was a great brioche, with good flavours and texture. But sadly, it wasn't scratching the itch I had for a cinnamon bun, so the hunt goes on!"

"The pizza i had was okay 32 bucks okay not sure ......I run buy the place for years and I saw the pizza ppl had on the patio it was crazy so I said why not ordered a large legendary (Newport deluxe) and it didn't look anything like the pizza I saw ppl eatting on the patio a far cry there was almost no cheese the lady on the patio had to fight to separate her pizza and thats what I seen many times on the patio running buy the pizza I got was meh I was expecting that same feeeling I saw on the patio the lady who served my take out was a sweet heart that being said im never going back and I own a business in the area ... for 32 dollars DO BETTER cheese LIGHT PIZZA you guys failed big time avoid this place.... call louis pizza on macarthur they arent cheap when you order"

"There are a few seats outside, but really it's take-out only. You won't mind this in nice weather, as Rideau Hall or the Minto bridges are just steps away for a nice picnic.42 Crichton has saved us so many times for delicious and nutritious hot 'home-cooked' dinners though. We often pick up their split-roasted chicken with veggies and it's as though it just came out of our oven (well, except I've never made a demi-glaze in my life). Gourmet saucy pulled pork poutine, a little deli selection (we pick up our dried sausage and cheeses here), a treat or 2 or 3 of the day, such as scones or chocolate ganache date cookies, or strawberry bread pudding or chocolate espresso brownie cake... Local, seasonal, and organic quality ingredients. You can taste the difference."
