"Took my mum and daughter to lunch today. Wow the coffee was coffee did not need an extra shot . As for the food,spot on delicious, flavoursome and well presented. The staff where very efficient and eager to please. Highly recommend this cafe. Keep up the great work guys I will be back. I also noticed how clean everything was as this is one thing I am always aware of."

"We live in Launceston and Hallams is one of our favourite restaurants. Good service, cosy fire in winter, nice view of the river in summer. We often just have the fish and chips and a glass or two of wine - there's a good selection of wines by the glass."

"It felt like I was demolished at Pierre. Food is average and overpriced. They pay for the French decor and the music. Oysters are tiny and very disappointing in view of Tasmania is the home of oysters. The size of the oysters was an absolute insult, as I considered that I went to Hobart, and found the same oysters Kilpatrick in the pub for $ 10 to a happy hour when Pierre's $ 42 had charged. Most dishes are filled with fat bread slices. The staff are very friendly (like the waiters flirting with them, so buy more drinks) and seems as if they were telling that they were torn and pressed drinks, but after they have paid, they do not want to get to know them anymore. Not worth mentioning. <br>
Grief
If you want some stupid, like Pierre's, try the mudbar, and if you want something casual and good value, try the star bar."

"There are two burgers they can make vegan if you ask. The one with beetroot was my favourite. The chickpea one wasn't too bad either. Chips are delicious, staff are friendly and helpful, young lady knew her what food was vegan-friendly right away. Impressed and would go again."

"It was our first night in Launceston - decided to try out this place. Parking was at one of the side streets. The pasta was delicious. Freshly made. Not much seating indoors. Maybe 4 tables. Lots of people came in to takeaway. Service was friendly and fast. We also tried their desserts which was okay. Still preferred their pastas for sure. Lasange was very very good."
