"My daughter and I needed a birthday cake on Saturday, the owner saw us closer to the entrance and opened the doors to tell us that they were closed for a special event, but asked us what we needed. We explained we needed a birthday cake and had not ordered it, she said, come in and I can help you. The cake was not only beautiful, but delicious! Thank you."

"We were traveling through the area and were lucky enough to have stopped in. Ate at the cafe, the food was amazing. We bought several different kinds of biltong, and they were all great. I'd heard of it before, but this was my first opportunity to try it. I'll certainly be having some shipped back home. Also picked up a peri peri chicken which we cooked on the grill and ate last night. Probably the most flavorful and juicy chicken I've ever had (although admittedly a little pricey), it was a big hit for dinner."

"I love this ice cream shop and the fact that they have tried to cater to vegans as well. The only issue I have with that is they have one flavor, chocolate and it's made from coconut milk and coconut has a tendancy to overpower other flavors too much. If there were a few more choices we might swing in more often. Everytime we've asked they say they're working on one. The location is great, though I wish they would somehow use there location to focus more on the river a bigger deck out back or something like that would be nice. I do like the remodel they did after hits closed but it feels like it needs a little something more"
