"We were a party of six and had the dinner buffet here in November. We were disappointed both with the quality of the food and the selection. On the menu was roast beef (not prime rib), turkey, and some dry looking salmon, carrots that were almost raw and various salads and rolls. There was hummus and spinach dip, but no sign of any crackers to have with them. Dessert consisted of some small squares of cake, frozen berries and cheese cake with chocolate or caramel sauce. When we asked for coffee after our meal we were informed that it was not included in the $34.99 price...really?. All of us felt that the buffet was overpriced and will not go there again"

"Very nice place where you can have a hot (or cold) drink with a quick bite. The cats roam around free. The café was started by two veterans with a part of the profit going towards a good cause. Seen sole people just working from there with their laptops. Very relaxing and beautiful cats!"

"I was in Quebec City for one week and had the chance to try different restaurants. This one is by far the best meal I had there, the other restaurants were amazing as well, but this one was memorable! I went with a friend and we ordered 6 different options from their inventive menu. We had oysters, corn beignets, fois gras, bodin noir, sweetbreads and the cod (which was the fish of the day). Every course was fantastic! Service was impeccable and I was impressed by their knowledge and ability to engage with the public. Thank you La Planque Staff for one of the best meals I had in a long time!"

"We were with a bike group in Quebec City and a number of our group had dinner at this fine restaurant one evening. The service was very good and the food, local and healthy options available in addition to fresh seafood provided all with ample...options. Our table had several different selections and the consensus was the same-terrific tasting and wonderful presentation, We would highly recommend this establishment -get there early as it fills up quickly-however it is worth the wait in our opinion."
