"The Whitney is a part of Detroit’s history, this is definitely a must see. The staff is extremely accommodating and efficient at what they do. The hidden gem is the ghost bar in the third floor, they serve drinks and desserts. They have specialty drinks such as the Witching Hour, expresso martini’s, and Tony’s specialty drink. The Whitney is so enjoyable for every occasion!!!"

"Good Cakes and Bakes … ooo weee.Danielle told me that the baked goods I purchased were going to make me think somebody’s grandma was in the kitchen…she was right. I bake, so I know quality goods. JUST like there’s a fashion BAKED goods place in our area that uses boxed cake mix. I bought four different items but only two pictures are attached. I bought a vegan brownie for a coworker who I asked to give me her honest opinion…she loved the vegan brownie. She said it was delicious and moist; she’d definitely have it again. I shared a spinach, tomato, feta quiche with my sister and she loved it (I wanted it to have more feta, that’s just me). I treated myself to TWO slices of rum cake and a slice of lemon velvet cake. Baaaby, when I tell you that I was excited about my choices. I know I shouldn’t buy a whole cake or go there every week, but I have absolutely found my new bakery for when I want sweets that meet both my approval and desires. The rum cake has the perfect amount of rum; my hand is a little heavier. That lemon velvet cake…I deserved every moist morsel of the three layer cake with real frosting. Rename the place … GREAT CAKES AND BAKES…grandma’s spirit is in the kitchen."

"I wanted to try to eat something healthy while I was out unfortunately todays menu is usually high in fats and sodium so I searched restaurants near me and this little spot popped up I was intrigued I came thru and only crazy thing was the girl didn’t know 3 toppings were included and told me only 2 but I remember seeing photos on google I looked at the menu and it was actually 3. I told her it says 3 on the menu and she wasn’t sure if they had all the ingredients I understood about these fresh businesses with inventory but more should be done. I got what I wanted it took about 20 mins instead of the 10 she told me but I was cool I had time to wait. Once I loaded my food for the car ride home I noticed the amazing smells coming from my bag you would of thought I had meat in there lol the chipotle sauce went perfectly with the rice bowl I suggest not getting black beans unless you love them I do but with tacos Mexican bowls or quesadillas which they have next time I will do double greens or sweet potatoes I loved the taste the rice was bland but that’s healthy I added a small amount of seasoning salt the bowls a nice size so I’m thinking 2-3 sauces is more better I loved the potatoes and greens I will be back and eating like this makes me feel less guilty I only spent $10 and that’s what I would spend at any fast food it was so good ? I will be back very soon like maybe tomorrow ?Vegetarian options: I ate vegan and loved the flavor"

"Returned post pandemic and was just as delicious as I remembered. Our server was fabulous. He came within minutes of us being seated, took our drink orders, came back not longer after and took our meal orders. Our food came out not long after and everything was yum, yum. Still 5 stars "

"Service wasn't good. Our waiter didn't come to us after he took our order. I'm not sure if it was the automatic 18% Gratuity that was added to our bill that felt like he didn't need to see if we were satisfied with our food, needed a refill, napkin or anything. The food wasn't that good either. Lambs were boiled over and shrimp pasta was excessively salty. We got more attention from the bus boy who put our table while we were still sitting and waiting for our bill for 15 minutes, to which we had to ask another waiter because ours were not found."
