"We came across this place when heading to a customer. It was a nice place to have a rest and some good food. I especially liked the atmosphere and the beautiful paintings that are for sale. If i wasn't travelling back by plane, I would have bought one of the colourfull cow."

"We were visiting the area for the weekend and I booked Sunday lunch in advance based on tripadvisor reviews of the food. The pub is a real traditional local pub and we really enjoyed our experience there. They only serve roasts on Sunday which was no problem as was what we wanted. We all had beef (my partner, myself and 7 year old son) and it was delicious. A real home cooked roast. Nothing fancy or posh just a decent home cooked meal. We all cleared our plates which is unheard of! The apple crumble was again home cooked and fantastic. Staff were lovely and the pub was full for lunch which speaks volumes. We are back here in December and I’ve already booked in for the Sunday"
