"Waited an hour and half after sitting for food to come. When it came, it was so exaggerated that half of the party had finished eating before the other half of the dishes arrived, and one person did not come to dinner before we had to...go. Food was good, but absolutely not worth waiting. The waiter was unapologetic and refused to offer a refund, only a gift certificate, in exchange for the foods that do not arrive in time. Will absolutely not go back and would not recommend."

"Absolutely charming little place I stopped in for lunch on the weekend with a friend and for less than $30 we had a fantastic meal with pierogies, the most flavourful sauerkraut soup, a smooth white borscht, sausage and huge cabbage roll each. It’s a wonderful spot for delicious comfort food served with care."

"The fish chowder is just okay but the toasted bread come with it is the best! Tuna melt is also highly recommended. They take the last order 30mins before close- even take out order- be prepared"

"Never been here before but I got an recommendation from a coworker 2 years ago. We stopped by without further notice on our way back home from the ferry. Within 15 min we got an awesome soup made from the scratch (my wife doesnt eat any dairy products), beef with ginger and onions, chicken rice noodles and some spring rolls. I love to cook myself so i am pretty sceptical when it comes to eating out but all this food was great , the cook did a fantastic job, you could taste that there was dedication involved .Both thumbs up !"

"I always thought of Nautical Nellie?s as a tourist trap but after going here for their new brunch launch, I have changed my mind. The food was actually really well prepared, the flavours were balanced, the dishes were different and interesting and theowner and chef truly are trying to show Victoria how much they care. Prices were reasonable and in some cases lower thancomparable restaurants and cocktails and non-alcoholic choices were also well made. I?ll be back for brunch again for sure."

"Another awesome meal at the Keg. This is one place you can rely upon time and time again. Our server Chantel was amazing so professional and with just the right amount of attention. Our meals were all excellent. This is the place for a...great steak at a reasonable price. We always get the Classic dinners because of their value. Wedge and Caesar salads are delicious as is the French onion soup. Good value on cocktails and wine too. We had Caears, Mojitos, Mules and wine in our group. Save room for a slice of Billy Miner Pie big enough for four to share! Our go to place when in Victoria."
