"I was here three nights. I liked the castle hotel very much. I stayed with my two dogs and family members. the hotel is very dog friendly. the room we had was beautiful and had character that was great plus a large bathroom. tea and coffee facilities were appreciated. perhaps the best about the castle hotel the restaurant. Eating was great, we had a night dinner and was very happy with it. the breakfast was great again and a lot of it. I would stay in the opposite again."

"Food was terrible some potatoes were hard and some were soggy the Yorkshire puddings were soggy and ther was no meat baisicslly just fat there was no choice of vegetables just runner beans carrots and coliflower just two choices of meat one word to say disgusting"

"Absolutely delicious. We love this quaint little pub in Chipstead. The food is always fabulous and the team are always smiley, happy and ready to help. We’ve just finished our Sunday roasts, which is a rarity for me as I normally work on Sundays. But there’s nowhere better for Sunday lunch. Thank you team G+D"

"Bases on the positive Tripadvisor reviews, and the look of the place through the window, my partner and I gave this place a go. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a let down. The food was bland at best. The garlic bread with cheese was not pleasant at all and left us with a bitter taste. The calamari was also tasteless and saved only by the garlic mayonnaise. My risotto main was slightly better but again, failed to inspire, with the porcini mushrooms just a mush. The other main (carbonara) was poor by all accounts. All that and two beers for around £80 when a trip to Pizza Express would have yielded better food for around £55. When we go out, we want the food to be better than what we serve up at home. In this case it was well off the mark."

"First visit to this Indian Restaurant and actually very good, we are a bit fussy with Indian food : Really looking forward to going back again and trying some different dishes. The Pathia was great as was the Tarka Dall. Service was unhurried and calm. Not too expensive, good portion sizes and served with a smile. Clean and fresh environment. Thank you Edit: Came back, tried the chicken tamarind. Would better as a small side dish, lovely dish but after 2 mouthfuls was a bit too much. Don't forget your coat as it was freezing inside.
