"Loved our stop here, a quirky sun filled space surrounded by book shelves, reminded me of an old school library. Friendly staff, basic vegan options nicely prepared. I had home made beans on toast and delicious oat milk chai latte."

"A little wait on the door until a table come free it was worth it. our waitress was cheerful, bright and efficient. our food was without delay with us and it was wonderful. a perfect portion from a fantastic menu, invites to choose without going over the top and to probably finish the best homemade meringue I've ever tasted. brilliant, can't wait to come back."

"We are coming to the end of our holiday and rather than cook on the last night decided to get fish suppers. Our nearest fish and chip shop was closed so I looked in some reviews and found Renatos in Dingwall about 6 miles away. I arrived to find folk queuing outside the shop and others waiting inside. Obviously a popular place. When I ordered two fish suppers I moved back to join others waiting for their orders. Within 3 minutes I was served and that should have alerted me. When I got back home we opened the boxes to find battered fish so soggy it was like wet cardboard. When broken open the batter was uncooked and a sickly yellow colour. The chips were not properly cooked and many had blackened edges. All for the princely sum of £18,plus travel! Perhaps I'm cynical but it would appear that tourists are being taken for a ride by serving food that has been lying around for ages and or not kept at the right temperature. Needless to say the whole lot went in the bin apart from the actual fish which the dog ate! When you are on the NC500 surely you want to keep customers returning, not complaining, after all Scotland relies on tourism for much of its income. Making a fast buck by serving sub standard food is beyond greed and a sad reflection on the hospitality industry."

"Popped for lunch by accident as the cafe next door was closed. A lovely little place, the queue was out of the door. I had a salad box which was absolutely the best salad box I have ever had from a takeout place. My partner had a filled roll which he really enjoyed (and he is fussy) My mum indulged in a pastry and a slice of cake which she also enjoyed. We all had coffees and sat outside with our lunch. Service took a while, but it was exceptionally busy and space is finite in a bakery. Luckily there were tables etc outside Loved it"
