"I had a wonderful peaceful lunch experience at the Boathouse.The food was excellent, the restaurant was fully booked but not full, (likely due to staff shortages, BUT that meant that my party was able to languish in our meal and have an amazing non-rushed experience. We were so very well taken care of by the lovely Albert who offered us recommendations on top sellers and personal favourites and there was another wonderful waitress helping out that day too.Definitely worth a meal if you can get in!"

"Absolutely lovely setting we enjoyed eating brunch in a sunroom within a historic building. The surrounding grounds offer a very pleasant walk, and back onto Wombat Hill gardens which are really pleasant in the warmer months. Friendly service too.<br/ <br/ The fare was, however, a little disappointing. We shared scones, which tasted a little dry and were hardened on the bottom from over cooking (and perhaps the addition of cinnamon and other spices). The jam and cream was good though the volume of jam was insufficient. The croquettes monsieur were a play on the French toastie, and were well cooked but very rich you're essentially eating deep fried cheese with some ham. If I weren't hung over I probably wouldn't have been able to finish them. The iced coffees were quite reasonable, but could have been a bit stronger.<br/ <br/ Would return to try some different dishes, if I was in the area."

"We have dined at the Koukla Café a few times. They have a great variety to choose from on their menu. The food is delicious and well presented. Our dining experience was relaxing with excellent service from the friendly delightful staff members."
