"Dinner on a Wednesday night. Busy for a mid week night. Kevin served me, looking after multiple tables yet personable at all times. I ordered the Caprese for starters and the duck Ragu for mains. The buffalo mozzarella was good, ditto the dressing, tomatoes not quite ripe but just out of season and very well presented. Ragu was hearty and generous. Chef Giovanni added a personal touch, explaining wine matching and inspiration for the menu. Nice bloke. Finished with a couple of shots of Amaro, Fernet Branca and an Australian Amaro, both excellent after dinner and on the house! All up a good dinning experience for a authentic southern Italian restaurant in Mackay. That said I've had better in Sydney for less but hey I'm in regional Queensland. Extra star for battling though Covid."

"Worst Indian I've ever had! Tasteless, chicken was very chewy (potentially under cooked and one piece even had the tendon still attached), naan bread is extremely flat/hard and chewy. I couldn't finish my meal not only because it was not nice but my jaw was too saw to keep eating. Do NOT waste your money on it!"

"Well definitely not going to this shop again, the customer service was nice but the pizza is shocking and dry apart from the sauce puddle!!!! Not to mention the shop is grubby."

"Thought we'd give this place a try on Saturday. Very pleased we did. We turned up at 10 minutes to closing but the girls cheerfully took our order for a Uneek works burger and cheese and sauce hot dog. They also took 2 more orders after we gave ours. (Most places would be saying sorry kitchen is closed and be cleaning up). The cafe was clean and neat, the staff very friendly and efficient. Though a smallish cafe, they had plenty of seating and tables inside and outside. Our burger came with a softdrink for only a dollar extra. Their prices were quite reasonable. The burger and hot dog and all goodies on them were fresh, flavorsome and tasty. Went down a treat. Only down side was food was packaged in polystyrene containers and not wrapped in paper but that;s just my bugbear. Go, try it for yourselves. Young, keen and cheerful workers who make good food and, from what I have heard, great coffee, what's not to like about that?"
