"Went with my friends to see the laneways sessions. We’ve done this many times as one of our friends plays there. The lady came up to our table and was beyond rude to my friends and forced us to buy some garlic bread as we weren’t drinking. It was dry, burnt and overpriced. The lady was rude and didn’t represent the business in a friendly or professional manner. Have been here many times before and have never been treated so disrespectfully. Definitely won’t be returning."

"As far as charcoal chicken and chips goes, this is as good as it gets. Heaps of sides to choose from, and I love that the staff ask if you want gravy on top or on the side. I do not love that all the meals come in polystyrene packets and the only cutlery is plastic. No need for that there are plenty of eco friendly options available for restaurants and take away. Sunday arvo (2.30pm, 3 April) staff were friendly and efficient, but didn’t wipe the tables between diners while I was there. There was a fair bit of food on the floor under the chairs, too. Plenty of time to chat behind the counter though!"

"Have had a few meals at the Inverest now. Always good, really good in fact. Staff are friendly, all reasonably priced, craft beer on tap and if you find something you prefer from the bottlo it's ok to drink that in the bar!"

"We received a friendly greeting from the waitress as soon as we entered. We were offered a choice of seating and we chose upstairs. The waitress followed us up with table water, glasses and menus. It was very cosy and comfortable upstairs and our meals came out quickly. Everything was fresh and tasty. The menu prices are a little more than we usually like to pay but still acceptable. There are toilets inside the venue too which is convenient. We enjoyed our meals and would definitely go back again."
