"Zest has a wide range of fresh and tasty pastries, slices and breads. They serve a bacon & egg ciabatta as well as a tasty full bacon & egg breakfast and there is a wide variety of choices of other breakfast and lunch dishes at competitive prices. The place was busy however the staff were friendly and attentive and there was not a long wait for our food once ordered. If buying a take-away coffee, take your own cup and receive a small discount. Given the numerous compliments written on the walls, there are many satisfied Zest customers around. Well worth stopping by to try."

"We’ve had the sticky spicy chicken wings with chips here plenty of times and they never fail to nail it. They are perfect! We have them with beer just like they are meant to be!!! So delicious! I want to thank the chef for not compromising any of their standards with these wings over the past couple years that we have lived here, because we know most places don’t do as good of a job, so they are doing something right here. Keep up the good work!"

"This Hanasaku Japanese Restaurant is a must stay and eat notification well worth to mark on your calendar! They only serve the freshest and best for a moderate price that is more then fair. We were in good company and the food is so outstanding good. "I love the pizza place in Stanthorpe. Whenever we are in town we always get the ribs, they are very tender and melt in your mouth. The pizzas are absolutely amazing especially the Hawaiian with garlic. I wish we could find something similar up in Brisbane. The staff are nothing but professional, friendly, helpful and quick with their service. I would highly recommend the pizza place as your go to!"

"On a visit to this place after a netball carnival found the toilets filthy and the floors in the eating area looked as though they had never been cleaned. Would never return."

"Went for dinner the night before a low of -6 degrees was forecast. There were 4 other diners in the restaurant and only one small wall heater on. All the other heaters were turned off. All tables only had white table clothes on them, no cutlery, serviettes, sauces. A polite lady bought the menus over and I ordered a beer to be told sold out so I ordered another brand of beer to be to told sold out. The lady told me they sold out on Saturday night. I said it’s Tuesday now and the bottle shop is a hundred metres away. Anyway that made no sense. Special fried rice was very ordinary and came out dark brown almost black looking rice. Mongolian lamb was more vegetables than lamb and the BBQ duck was ok. The prices are not cheap either. Certainly not a place I will revisit."

"We stayed a night here and were blown away from the excellent customer service, the friendliness and fun at this place. Steph the owner was an amazing host and her staff, especially Nicole, were top notch, #1 and could teach so many businesses a thing or two about customer service. The atmosphere was great, we were lucky to have a lounge by the open fire, the food was great, and again the staff were exceptional. The rooms were clean, tidy and thankfully cosy warm. Highly recommend The Club Hotel."
