"Excellent food, larger portions and the owners will even change the menu choices on the combo's (ask nice cause they are really nice people) We order takeout from them and have never been disappointed. Good prices and the service is quick. The dining area is...spotless and the owners are friendly. Glad we have them in Castlegar"

"This is not a walk in the restaurant .. it is a banquet hall:only had our Christmas celebration at the riverbelle. from the people who sat on our table, and others on our party: primed rib with yorkshire pudding: had taste but. pretty and chewing. the chicken cordon blue .. was not fresh, clear made from a box and was it baked or fried? I'll bet. now the fresh vegies :not definitiw from a freezer. the only positive: chocolate cake for the desert and waitress"

"When the Crown Point Hotel opened it was the fanciest place in the region. The waiters wore bow ties, suit vests and slacks, and crisp white shirts. It was a special place to dine or meet for business with a New York feel. In this age of nostalgia (think Mad Men for a setting) it's time for an investor who cares to come in and save this spot before it is too late to restore."

"I was there with my sister a few years ago. The food and service was amazing and fabulous. So after the restrictions of Covid lifted, we planned a well needed getaway to BC (from Alberta) around going back to the Colander for another treat to...their fabulous Italian cuisine. While understanding the Covid Restrictions were tough on businesses and restaurant's, I felt I could do no favors by smoozing my comments. The food (spaghetti sauce and meatballs) was tasteless and very disappointing to the point, i will not be back. The chicken was also tasteless and dry. My hopes in this review and others I have read is to allow the owners managers to go back to previous recipe's so the Restaurant can return to it's glor and continue serving for many years to come. ."

"Can they honestly tell me that 1 of their pizza is worth $40? since I ordered the last time from here, the pizza crust was stiff as a board, the torf pieces were minimal and the pizza was hardly warm! after much disappointment I exchanged. after panago, but decided to give this young one another, and it is still nothing but disappointment. I stay at panago where I need to pay my orders as I like them and no poor and one for 4 pizzas (almost $90 at 2for1, vs $70 at panago)"

"Whenever we think Chinese we think Ace of Taste. We have tried the others, but, hands down this is the best Chinese Food in the area. Consistency is important and they deliver. We know what we want, what we expect and we get it every time. We have lived in major cities with Chinatowns and we are happy that the food here at Ace of Taste is comparable to what we are used to."
