"My friend and I went on a saturday night and by surprise the hostess limited us to a “holiday menu” that was about 55$ for 4 meals. We just wanted to go for drinks and a regular menu to pick our food. I thought holiday menus were mainly for large groups but i guess things have changed now since covid. Moreover it was only 9 pm and their kitchen closed at midnight so i don’t think they were lacking food options at that time. Either way had to talk to the hostess to convince her to give us a regular menu as we didn’t want to be forced or limited to select from pre-made options. If i had known my options were going to be restricted i wouldn’t have went there in the first place. Anyways She spoked to management and sat us at a table with a “bar menu” . As the blonde waitress came to serve us she made an ordeal AGAIN stating that we cannot order from the bar menu and I told her we already went through this with the hostess and she already said it was okay so why is there another problem? She then proceeded to say she has to check with management etc . Then she came back and said it was okay but then switched with another waitress to serve us because I guess for her our table wasn’t going to be worth her time or tip money. Regardless of this our new waitress was super sweet and gave us excellent service so we tipped her 20% . I dont know why the restaurant is reducing their menus to pre-made holiday menu that included only two preset options, i mean if i wanted to be spoon-fed my options i would have stayed home it would be nice to have the freedom of choice to choose what i want to eat on a menu at a restaurant. I think that was none sense."

"Situated in the DiX30 on south shore, this little ramen place is decent. Now for starters I've had a lot of ramen in my life; more than I like to admit, although I like to admit I love ramen. They're the best. It's not the best ramen I've had. It's it bad but not best. I had takoyaki for entre. It was delicious, you can judge a good Japanese restaurant by their takoyaki; that's my non scientific take on Japanese restaurants. Anyways onto the main dish. I took their spicy red miso. The noodle were chewy like they suppose to be. The meat was good although it only had 2 thin slices. A lot of bean sprouts which I don't think you're suppose to put that much in ramen. The broth was salty. That's the only bad thing that stood out to me. It was very salty. Overall great ambiance, the waiters are friendly; they explain the different types of soups to you."

"It hasn't changed much since I last reviewed it. It still is in a smallish size restaurant, and the food is average overall. The short ribs are above average, but the sides like potatoes, two types of kim chee, and bean sprouts are just OK. Today, we had the Bibimbap, which was rice topped with seasoned vegetables and egg. It was all stirred together in a hot rock bowl and then eaten with a spoon. Taste was above average, but it needed the meat kick with the short ribs we purchased for the side. We also had cold buckwheat noodles with spicy sauce and shredded cucumber - that was nice, but also not filling.Overall, it was a nice pick me upper for lunch, but not special. There are not many Korean options around, but it is OK for lunch.They don't accept credit cards. Debit or cash only"
