"My last meal at the Taj was above average. The most recent was quite a disappointment. Prices were higher than I recalled from my last visit. The bread selection was the smallest I have ever seen in an Indian Restaurant on three continents. Indian bread is always a highlight for me. At the Taj, it was below average to poor. My wife found her meal a bit above average. My Lamb Vindaloo was the worst I have ever had. The meat was tough and stringy. The sauce was neither very spicy, nor very well seasoned. An Indian restaurant without Indian beer is a travesty. Service (from the same waiter we had last time) was not especially professional on this visit. A customer at another table sent his drink back because of something floating in it. Perhaps this was just a bad day, but I can no longer rate the Taj as the best Indian restaurant in Schweinfurt."

"Am Tag zuvor aus China selbst zurückgekommen, fehlte mir prompt die chinesische Küche und so landete ich zum Mittagessen in diesem Restaurant. Statt a la Carte zu essen, habe ich mich fürs Büffet entschieden und konnte mich so durch die verschiedenen Leckereien testen und genüsslich die neu erworbenen Kenntnisse in Sachen "Chopsticks" ausprobieren. Jedenfalls hat mir das Essen gemundet, auch wenn das hier die "europäisierte" Variante ist. Das Original in China (Kunming) ist anders und besser (allerdings meist auch wesentlich schärfer!)"

"Saturday lunch was to be Enchilada's or Bernstein's and since Enchilada's was closed, we headed to Bruckenstrasse. Convenient parking beneath the museum exits a 30 second walk to the front door of the restaurant. We were fortunate to find a table for 4 as we arrived between lunch and dinner (2:30) to find a busy scene. The exterior is modern and chic, as is the interior, and you will find a tripadvisor placard in the window. The staff was friendly and spoke better English than we speak German. The menu (all in German) had some variety and we ordered 4 rather different meals that all tasted superior. The only issues I had were the long wait for service and the size of the table (too small to accommodate 4 entrees and drinks.) I will recommend this restaurant to others because of it's location, food, and child friendly environment even though I myself will not return. With only 5 months left in Germany there are too many places to eat and too little time. Enjoy."
