"Title says it all, but this is a hidden gem. The coffee is fantastic and offers good quality alternative milks. The food is great, with a good range of items, well sized and delicious. Can recommend the hangover wrap. Lastly, prices are fantastic and service is great always."

"Well, my wife recommended this place for its setting and good food…mind you, she hadn’t been there in a decade. The pub is definitely lovely, with a British flair. Lots of British ales on tap, as well as Australian ones. We booked ahead (thank goodness)...for a 1:30 siting. The place was packed inside and out. We loved the atmosphere, and the bar service was very friendly and efficient. The food, however, was disappointing. We had the steak burger and the bangers and mash. The burger was not hot, and the cheese was not melted, the fries were not even lightly salted. The bangers and mash were ok, but a tad bland and onions undercooked. We still recommend this pub, though…even if one just goes for a drink in a lovely pub."

"This restaurant is truly worth the trip from anywhere. Coffee absolutely the best by far in Gungahlin possibly Canberra. I enjoy a really good coffee but one/day is always enough as many leave a lingering after taste that also leaves your mouth a little dry. However, not here, it’s so good I recently asked for a 2nd, for me that’s most unusual. We also had a delicious toastie (with chips) that we’d certainly enjoy having again. And everything was served promptly AND on in crockery, NOT disposables. Thank you again Frankies for an thoroughly enjoyable culinary experience."

"I stopped by for a bit of breakfast coffee and raisin toast. Both came out in quick time. The coffee looked lovely and the raisin toast?... well you can't really muck that up can you?"

"The garlic and kesebred for $9.00 was soggy as it was kept warm for many hours. it required us to follow after 30 minutes, and they said they had technical problems when they forget to hand over the dockets. a blue and. a medium steak took time. over 45 minutes to get the meals. the supervisor argued that I could be repaid for the money paid for the steaks and could not give an estimate of how long the steaks would last. $42.00 was a very bad experience in service and eating."

"Located in the industrial area of Mitchell expectations were low.Despite this the coffee was pretty decent and the cakes and delicacies looked great.I tried a quiche and it was certainly above average.In brief, you could a lot worse and this little gem should do well with its long trading hours."

"We discovered this place a few months back and have been nearly once a week ever since.Located within a retirement village with a backdrop of Lake Ginninderra.We have had breakfast, Morning tea and lunch here. The staff are super friendly and the food is delivered promptly.There is both inside and outside tables. It is open to the general public"

"This restuarant has a fabulous view and is right on the lake with good parking. Unfortunately they once had marvellous thin chips that everyone raved about but now the chips are thick like most places and are very unappetising. It is the franchise's fault not the fault of the restuarant. I for one voted with my feet and went back to Maccas for their thin chips."
