"This has been my third visit to the Rockville location and my experience has always been pleasurable. The staff is very friendly (and many of them speak French, which only adds to the experience), the pastries and savory meals are awesome and fresh. But the coffee... EXCEPTIONAL! My only wish is that they have more macarons."

"Pret is my regular place for a quick croissant and coffee or for some lunch soup. It's easy to get in and grab and pay and go. Food is tasty and made fresh. The portion size is a tad bit smaller, IMO, but good enough if you pair the lunch item with a side of chips, etc. Their Lentil soup is awesome! The folks working here are courteous and friendly. I love there are so many Pret's around in the downtown area :"

"If you are in need of a quick place to grab food/coffee, this is the place. You'll pay D.C. prices (i.e. higher than normal) for food, but if you don't mind that, it tastes great. I often stop by Pret on my lunch breaks; even during their busiest times, it's a really easy place to get in and get out quickly."

"Most bakeries have 0-1 vegan items, so why bother? this is different. rise has approx. 4-6 vegan items. that's not stellar, but it's nice. their attention to food restrictions means that they know that these vegan causes are vegan. it's beautiful. they mark objects as soya free, nut-free, egg-free and milk-free with a color-coded system. the selection ranges from muffins and fast broths to bars and cupcakes. the baked goods are not bad, and they don't taste terrible. they do not taste phenomenal. However, they will not leave when they go with their friends and are gluten-free. it is a beautiful place to support so go on and buy vegan (gluten-free! at this 100% gluten-free bakery. the more people who demand vegans. the more vegan choice it will be!"

"This was a random stop this morning and I must say, I enjoyed the vibe, the coffee options (New Orleans style brew is phenomenal) and the CUSTOMER SERVICE! The blonde hair gentlemen (they don’t wear name tags) at the register was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and the options enough to help me make a decision on what to get. The avocado toast was filling and when I am in the area, I will come back! Thank you!"

"I went to DC on the train and had a friend who picked me up and she asked me to eat somewhere. I was in the size of the menu and wanted to get everything. I recommend a reservation especially on a weekend. I didn't know before I got there, but fortunately they had two places open at the bar."
