"We booked here whilst staying at the resort hotel. It was a lovely meal and felt much calmer than Bricks (although only had breakfast there) It wasn't as big but the atmosphere felt really nice. When we were seated, we where handed ALOT of menus; Childs set menu and halloween menu, adult set menu and halloween menu, vegan menu and drinks menu. It was alot to take in despite there not actually being a lot to choose from on the menu. This lead to confusion after dinner when handed the bill and it being itemised per dish. (we were under the impression it was set so seeing how much it actually is may have been cheaper) Even our waitress said she has bought this to the attention to her manager but hasn't got anywhere. The food did take a bit of time to come out but I think it was because it wasn't very busy. Food was presented well and tasted good too. Fall back was the cost of the meal. Children's set menu was approx, £18 for two courses and adults £32 for two courses. This was really costly for the amount of food provided. A family for are looking at a meal for £100 and that doesn't include drinks! Soft drinks ranged from £3.50-4, beers £6. Unfortunately during our visit they had a very limited options for beer, and no ales. Despite this, it was nice to experience, but wouldn't neccisarily say its a must do when visiting."

"Our second time here and it was a mixed bag. Service was initially slow, but another staff member took over and it was much better. Our starters were excellent. The Chicken 65 was a good sized portion, colourful with nice flavours and spice. The salt and pepper Mogo was cooked to perfection the inside was soft, like a potato chip. More often than not the Mogo has a slightly tough, fibrous texture to it. This however was the best made one I have had The mains were nice, but not in the same league as the starters. Naan bread was a bit doughy and to be honest did not taste like it had been freshly made, it was slightly hard and chewy. Butter chicken was nice but a bit unmemorable, nothing outstanding about it but it was inoffensive enough. My mother rated the Chicken Biryani as average. Desserts were a bit disappointing as Kulfi was unavailable. I had the chocolate fudge cake which was no better than a supermarket dessert. It's not the best but it's by no means the worst place to eat. Service is slow considering the place was virtually dead."

"We visited for the first time on Saturday evening Wonderful welcome Excellent service The food was a revelation beautifully presented and tasted divine It was a belated treat for my husband and we thought it would be a nice pub meal Exceeded expectations in every way What a wonderful on our doorstep Will definitely be on our list of places to frequent regularly Can’t wait to sample Sunday lunch Highly recommend"

"The Fox Castle is outstanding in every way. Food, staff, service value. It is dog fiendly recently adopted a stray that decided it wanted to live there! They have had it neuted called it Foxy. The cat is calm, friendly so well behaved. Doesn't go anywhere it shouldn't never approaches anyone unless called. Thank you Fox Castle outstanding"
