"I was very excited to try this place seeing the Google ratings but was a little disappointed with the food. The dishes were just okay and the flavour was not what you would expect in good Malaysian food . I have had much better Malaysian food in few other restaurants in Calgary. Tried the chicken popcorn starter which was just like any store bought chicken popcorn.. the rendang beef was just okay .."

"The food was over priced for what was served. Uncooked pasta and a tasteless sauce.The chair was wobbling and directly beneath a strong light that was like sitting in an interrogation chair. The girl at the front desk was brash and dismissive. The manager was condescending and didn't offer any reasonable solutions when presented with our disappointment; didn't move tables, claimed that food was supposed to be served the way it was although it tasted unsatisfactory. The server girl was pleasant enough and it was unfortunate she got caught between a rock and a hard place."

"Have not had any other sushi in Calgary so I don't have any other establishment for comparison. Good service, pleasant service and a convenient location make it a good choice for lunch. Choice of soup, your typical bowl of rice, and a lunch combo special (pick two 20 or so items) for $15 CAD (before the automatic tip is added) is okay but nothing to write home about. Had sushi one day and it was okay. Had Tonkatsu on the second visit and it was a little disappointing as it was tough."

"Family business restaurant with good food and prices! Service was quickly a great one. Many people ordered the Pho, which looked delicious, but we chose pad Thai and lemongrass chicken and rice. Recommended!"

"Upon first going to Cafe 16 I was worried, as the reviews were quite mixed. However, I don't regret going at all, as my experience at Cafe 16 instantly made me a fan! The reason why I say this is that the customer service was reasonably fast and the food was amazing! Overall I will definitely be coming to Cafe 16 again."

"Very attentive and pleasant service. However, the menu is not customizable for people with nutritional restrictions. Although I stated on my reservation that we had guests with food restrictions, they were not really available. Great room and location, but make sure that your party can enjoy the menu before eating here."

"A friend suggested we have lunch at Cravings. The concept is good but the food is over priced and under rated. I had a salad sampler, three salads for $10.50 and calamari. The salads were average at best, calamari was okay. My friend had the steak fajita bowl, poorly seasoned but lots of it! There are so many great restaurants to choose from in Calgary...."
