"Mixed feelings!. We stopped in for the buffet. I am new to Indian food so wasn't sure what to expect. Nice building, and friendly staff. The experience was just ok. I wasn't sure what I was eating, and our server was in a bad mood and wasnt up for explaining any of it. Some of it was really good, some was ok, and there was some that I did not like. If I had to order off of the menu I would not know what their specialty was or where to begin."

"My mom and I ate lunch here on Saturday. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding! I had the vegetable plate and could not eat it all So I took my leftovers home and they were just as good the next day. My mom's steak was cooked to perfection and she really enjoyed her meal as well!"

"Dinner here this week. was a handful of time and that was perhaps my fav. in the past I felt openly rushed by the staff. sa in awkward locations I am a party of . alone tonight, but a reasonable table.<br br/>Ordered the tuna steak. picture: <br br>/ the part was good. the fish was very well prepared and delivered as ordered. the spicy was very good and not a thick, oversized crust. Nice. salat was an salat, but the avocado vinaigrette was very beautiful. I said it was made house.<br br/>Been dodging this place for a few years...maybe things have turn a bit....will update.<br>/ update br/>Gave it another go this week. the shrimp baiana really enjoyed. beautiful angel hair with red and green paprika. shrimp was beautiful and juicy. no rubber balls. (picture) beautiful portion and salat in front of the entrée."

"Visited Thai Continental during our stay in Roanoke and we were really pleased! We have some picky eaters in our family but they had something for everyone on the menu. We ordered the vegetable egg rolls and edamame as an appetizer which were delicious. For entrees we had the tofu soup, fried rice, and drunken noodles with tofu. Dessert was mochi and sticky rice with coconut custard. Overall, great service and food! I would absolutely go back next time I’m in town."

"Ok. I never gush or go over the top about many things BUT this place is THE Place to eat. The starter plate of ribs are unique and superb. Entrees were perpared, plated, and served with a Cool, Hip touch. And speaking of cool if you are lucky and get to meet the owners you will understand why The River And Rail even though not an Itailian joint is my #1 Roanoke restaurant"
