"My birthday was also Valentine's Day today. I came with my man at 2 o'clock. we are both male and African decent. immediately the (I suppose) owner who wore a pink pullover rushed to order us constantly when I told her and her assistant that I must see what kind of cupcakes they offer. that was occupied by customers. they wouldn't stop trying to get us out of intimidation because we're black males in a cupcake shop in olathe kansas. the casser even shook so badly, while the car stood in the corner and stared at us as if she wanted to call the police. the cupcake was great, but we felt very undesirable. very pathetic. I just wanted a cupcake for my birthday."

"We used SmallCakes for our wedding reception and the cupcakes were a hit! We chose four different fun flavors of cupcakes so every guest had a favorite, along with a small wedding cake for just Kevin and I to cut. Everything was beautiful and, more importantly, delicious. The staff came and set everything up and I never had to think about it on the big day. I did not have a cake stand (or rather, it never even crossed my mind with all the other details involved in wedding planning) and Allyson let me borrow theirs last minute. It is the small things like this that are so appreciated to help ease the stress that can come along with such an event. Pictures to come!"
