"There are 3 vegan dishes. The vegetables from the wok were very delicious and with plenty of vegetables. The tomato soup was okay. In front of the restaurant is a playground, but the play equipment is partly in need of reperature."

"Knurrhahn is a small bistro type eat in or take out restaurant. They serve fresh fish, pasta, soup and a variety of other delicious foods. They also have a Kiddie Menu, with smaller portions and non fish options, such a potato pancakes with apple sauce. The staff is very friendly and we never had to wait long for our food. It is cafeteria style, meaning you order and they call you when it is ready. They have several small tables with bar stools. We ate at Knurrhahn 4 times during out vacation and never had a bad meal."

"Northern Germans and especially those on Borkum are very keen on their tea and this is the best known of the many places. The menu is hugely extensive but I would recommend the Borkum tea top of the list and served on a small heater with strict instructions not to touch for 4 minutes. There is a rather small selection of cakes which are ok bit nothing to write home about and the prices are a bit steep but I would recommend a visit."

"Large snacks with burgers make the addiction, but also all other dishes are recommended. Please try the XxxL citizen. Very nice boss, with whom I was allowed to knock, as I am a cook."
