"Love this place, we come here every weekend. amazing breakfasts, not cheap, but the money for all high-quality ingredients and the chefs are wonderful- pochierte eier are every time perfect! small menu, but also for vegetarian quite good. very friendly staff, good service, even if they are busy. highly recommended!"

"Not exactly luxury. Service was bad and they served afternoon tea sandwiches in subrolls and with chips! For a "luxury restaurant in the middle of a city, the gluten-free option were minimal only 1 pancakes and they had run out. Just a visit worth a cake or scones, but nothing more."

"Quirky interior, which was great. Spoke to a young man behind the counter who told us to take a seat and someone would be with us. A young girl and older woman looked at us a few times over the minutes that we were sat there, before the younger girl finally brought menu's. Huge menu, with lots to choose from. Ordered a few minutes later, and waited. Sadly we were informed that they no longer do child sized portions of the cakes, so we ended up with a massive slab of chocolate cake which was only half eaten by our year old. The older woman then approached the table with waffles but referred to one of them with a different name to that on the menu, so we politely said that wasn't our order. The woman basically barked at us that this was what we had ordered. We tried to explain that we hadn't ordered a waffle with that name, and she gave us the filthiest look before tutting and storming back to the counter. We didn't catch what she called us as she walked away. She then very clearly spoke to the young girl about us, giving us filthy looks throughout. The young girl came over with the same waffles and apologised stating there was a miscommunication and that the waffle was the one we has ordered, and not the one the old woman had said. Maybe it would be best to keep such a rude woman out of a public facing role as she clearly holds no interest in any customer service, unless it is bad customer service. She was giving filthy looks to other customers too, not just us, and a couple who dared to walk out after of being ignored was slated by her as they left."

"I’ve been a few times over the years and have always loved it, however today it was an awfully slow and disappointing experience. After sitting outside for 20 minutes waiting for their ‘table service’ I went to order. The dessert side of the menu has dramatically reduced over the last year with options available … removing items such as their pot of indulgent melted chocolate which when asked if this possible to order was met with a very reluctant response to check with a manager so I ordered a chocolate crepe instead (big mistake) along with chocolate coated strawberries asking for the melted chocolate to be on the side which they offer on the menu with a Diet Coke and flat white. After waiting around 10 mins our drinks arrived along with the strawberry’s with the melted chocolate over them error one and then having to wait a further 30 minutes for the crepe to arrive after asking twice how long it would be error 2. The young gentleman who brought this out did apologise for the wait and for his second day he was really polite and friendly. The crepe really wasn’t that nice very bland even with the chocolate but the strawberries were lovely as always. I understand they may have been busy but at least indicate to customers how long they may be waiting before ordering it’s not exactly a three course dinner request."
