"Chaos. Picked up an order, it was left on the side congealing while I was left waiting for an eternity. Useless Barista #1 totally forgot I was there (despite being stood directly in front of her) while Useless Baristas #2 #3 stood looking bewildered at the till screen. Would 100% recommend if you're into waiting around and cold food."

"We had a group function and they were really busy that day and time! The wait stuff could have been more helpful or professional, but they were a bit unprofessional at organising and assisting the menu! Other than that, some dishes were good, some dishes were hit and miss! I like their sashimi, flavours and vinaigrette worked really well on that plate! Scallops were nicely cooked, salads, vegetables were alright but nothing was speacial. I had John Dory as main; as nice as the fish itself,I found the curry sauce is a bit salty and didn’t quite corporate with fish, but seperately they were nice."

"The wagyu beef is really good!! Recommend to try. Love the lobster and salmon sashimi, very fresh. Lucky there is firework in darling harbour on Saturday night. The view is awesome and the waitress are very nice."

"I really like their vegan laksa!! The fake meat and the broth were fantastic! The chocolate pancakes were tasty and decadent. The chai latte, red velvet latte were so nice too! Will be coming back to try other dishes !"

"Well first time there and definitely not the last time. The food was really good, lots of diversity in the dishes yum yum. I think important to share so then you get to try little snippets of everything. Then the 'refreshments ' or should I say sherbies!!! Very palatable good scotch selection and cocktails. Eclectic atmosphere, however the service was very attentive and friendly."

"Emily recently catered for a birthday lunch event. She provided a delicious mouth watering array of Vietnamese rice paper rolls, vegan duck pancakes, fried chicken, salad, chicken rolls!!! All my guests were blown away with the quality and freshness of the food. Emily was incredibly generous of her time and communicated throughout the whole process. I highly recommend a visit to the penny royal and can’t wait to back there again for the vegan duck pancakes. Thank you Emily"

"Solid source of Taiwanese food that hasn't disappointed me yet. My recent visit saw me go with a classic pork congee $7) with century egg fried bread stick $2.50), which delivered on those comfort food feels. Also pictured are items we had from a few other visits last year, for both dine in and takeaway. egg crepe w/ fried bread stick, $5.50 pork floss egg crepe, $6.80 soybean milk, $2.80 deluxe value meal C, $15.80 pork mince with rice meal, side dish choice: Taiwanese fried chicken bites, drink choice: Calpis no.26 pork chop noodle soup, $14.80 Ordering is at the counter and I've found the service to be adequate each time. Note that that the separate breakfast menu is available until 11am, though some items can sell out much earlier. There's self service water next to the ordering counter, and a mixture of indoor and outdoor seating to choose from."
