"With Lord windsors for the time closed after a drunker drove through the window, I was looking for a new coffee house to my second place in this summer. Luckily I noticed this point that I think recently right at the corner, which is beginning to be a rather cooler block of hip small companies. it has a clean design aesthetic with ample interiors, the windows bar style seating and cafe style seating, plus a good amount of seating outdoors, as well as cranky air conditioning. decent vote. friendly staff. they do not fry their own buzz like lord windsor or rose park, but they offer a series of fancier style coffee drinks. I noticed that the instigator seemed to be the most popular so I tried that first and tbh I find it hard to move on now. it is shaken latte style drink with brown sugar and maple, which is super delicious with milk. I haven't even tried to mandulate milk. they offered me the last time cinnamon, but I said, "Don't let us go through with perfection"! I once tried the cold brewery just because it's usually my drink. it was in order, and it was a generous amount of beer, but I immediately went back to the instigator at my next visit. as, literally, everyone who drinks! her bakery has always made vegan coffee cake available, in which usually in several flavors. I tried the original style, guave, pineapple and banana varieties and they are all wet and tasty! I found out that they are made available by long beach 's own lobo cuban food! they recently started to wear some vegan donuts from another baker, but I didn't try them. even more exciting is the addition of a small menu including my new obsession of ain 't broke avocado toast! updated by previous review on 2022 07 21"

"On my out to the Cali Vibes Fest I stopped at Fuego for some seaside dining. I started with the Grilled Lamb Chops with Chimichurri, Jalapeño Pepper Escabeche, Spring Sweet Peas, Roasted Sweet Potato with Cotija Cheese. This appetizer was the best dish of the evening. The lamb was cooked perfectly, meaty, and full of flavor. I would hands down recommend starting with the lamb. The meal that followed wasn't as good. I had the Ropa Vieja, a Cuban Style Braised Short Rib over a Black Bean Purée on Crispy Corn Tortillas with Cabbage Escabeche, Caramelized Plantains, and Crema. The first thing I noticed was that my fried plantains were cold and the short rib was warm at best. I was very disappointed in the temperature of my meal. The flavors were there I guess, but the portion was so small. For $33 I expected more than a scoop of meat and a pile of cabbage. The meat to cabbage ratio was way off. My guest had the Pan-Roasted Chilean Seabass with Fried Sage Brown-Butter, Blistered Tomatoes, Mashed Acorn Squash, and Chanterelle Mushrooms. The fish was actually pretty good and piping hot. Maybe my dinner was left in the window waiting for the fish to be cooked fresh and that's why mine was cold. While the fish was good, again, it was a really small portion for the cost. To keep from going to the concert still hungry, my guest and I ordered the Shaved Street Corn with Garlic Aioli, Queso Fresco, and Tajín. The street corn was better than both our dinners. The food is decent. When you come here, keep in mind that you're going for the water front views and atmosphere and you'll be okay."

"The Foundation Sandwich Shop is a top notch deli style restaurant on the Promenade in downtown Long Beach. The food is exceptionally good... delicious. I especially like their deli salads. I keep going back for another visit; I enjoy this restaurant every time. The manager is very nice; she works hard to please. I was very impressed with her great style. The employees are also doing there best to serve every customer. Very professional. "I’m so sad I didn’t find you sooner! The empanadas were super tasty and the sandwiches were just what I wanted for lunch today. Service was fast and friendly and everything tasted great. I did make the mistake of not adding a tres leches cake to the order and had to make an impulse purchase at the counter."
