"Had my first Southland Cheese roll ever here – came in for a quick breakfast and wake-up coffee before work. It was so cheesey but strangely it wasn’t a sickening flavour, might be because there was a hint of some kind spice (maybe cumin? added to the dish. It went well with the strong black coffee I ordered.<br/ <br/ The place has a modern and simple decoration, quiet in the morning and some more seats out the back as well, with very welcoming service from the people who work here."

"Great evening at Goode Bros with cocktail production followed by pizza made according to your own specifications of scratches and then crown everything, desert pizza made again from you. Only the bottom was just one bill per table that was strange, like u with a random group sitting total great fun and a beautiful evening Thanks Logan"

"Like korean, this restaurant sells exactly the same taste of Korean Chinese food. Jjambbong was seafood and Jjajangmyun was not too sweet. Sweet acidic pork was decent. Very recommended."

"It used to be good: good price and good taste, but I was very disappointed last week. I ordered the usual amount of food but the price went up so much. I asked for the receipt and found out they’ve put an extra 15% GST, if I understood correctly. Anyway, it usually cost me $60+ or $70+ and now it’s $90+. The food wasn’t as good as before and very oily. And the man on the counter was showing a very bad attitude and couldn’t bother answering my questions when I picked up the food. I will never go back again."

"Late afternoon shopping in Ponsonby, start getting hungry and want a snack before finishing up. Enter Mexico... <br/ <br/ Having visited their Takapuna store many times there is a comfort in knowing what you are about to order and eat.<br/ <br/ We are welcomed into the restaurant and seated by our friendly waitress. We place our order didn’t really need to look at the menu) afternoon snack of Mexico Fried Chicken, one of their speciality’s. Food arrives shortly there after and it’s exactly what the doctor ordered. Great as always!!!<br/ <br/ If you haven’t eaten here before there are plenty of other goodies to try on the menu: worth a mention is their soft shell tacos, they always go down a treat!<br/ <br/ Food: 75%<br/ Ambience: 78%<br/ Service: 80%<br/ Coffee: N/A"

"I've been to Faro a few times for their Korean BBQ which I found to be quite expensive. So this time, I opted to have their a la carte menu and had their Kim Sam Gyeop and Ice Cold Noodles.<br/ <br/ The Kim Sam Gyeop came in a hot plate with slices of pork belly, Kimchi, Cabbage, corn and cheese. It was a delicious combo. The cold noodles was nice and refreshing.<br/ <br/ I found the side dishes on offer at Faro acceptable. But i have had better at other Korean restaurants."
